Why do we need a

NEW GLOBAL MODEL?

Global problems require global solutions.

Political and economic competition and self-interest between National Governments creates the majority of the world's problems - everything from international war and military conflict to economic trade wars, poverty, environmental destruction, etc. To end these problems requires a new approach; one that unites the shared interests of all countries. This can be achieved by transitioning from a 'Nation-centric' model to a NEW Global Model which benefits all countries and people.

It's time for us to 'work together as one people'...for the common good of all.

Nation-centric Model

National Model

Competition and Self-Interest

A Nation-centric model with each country focused on its own interests – in political, economic and military competition with the others – leads to aggression and a state of ‘conflicted interests’ between all countries. This results in serious problems.

The focus on political, economic and military ‘competition and self-interest’ creates major problems in the world – war, nuclear threats, greed, corruption, extreme wealth inequality (a major factor behind the recent brexit vote in the UK), human trafficking, environmental issues, species being hunted to extinction, etc.

Also, when each national government meets to discuss important global issues, their psychological focus is often self-centred – ‘What deal can I get out of this for myself or my country’. This is why they lack the ability to resolve global problems.

To effectively resolve these problems, we need to transition to a global model.

Global United Model

GLOBAL Model

Cooperation and Shared Interest

A Global model is based on all countries working together in true cooperation for the benefit of ALL PEOPLE – resulting in an incredibly positive and supportive world. This approach makes intelligent sense as it supports and benefits all people.

A global model is an intelligent model as it is based on the principles of cooperation and shared interest. By working together as a people towards our common good – we all benefit. This practical and common sense approach would phenomenally improve all sectors of society, in all countries.

As there is a new focus on achieving goals based on our collective interest, there would be a more positive approach and successful outcome to international meetings – ‘What can each of us do to help achieve our shared goals so that we all benefit?’

When we work together as a people, there are no limits to what we can achieve.

"I agree - Working together for everyone's benefit makes perfect sense. It's the right thing to do. So what are the options?"

Can National Governments implement this change?

Governments

In your opinion, do the political leaders of the world’s national governments have the necessary maturity and respect for one another to make a commitment to work together for the common good of all people?

If they did, wouldn’t they already be working together – instead of competing AGAINST each other?

The reality is, most governments have major problems today. These problems include immature egotism, political power games, despotic behaviour, cross-party aggression, ‘politics-for-hire’ lobbying, blatant corruption, and so forth. Due to these serious political problems, it is simply unrealistic to expect these governments to have the maturity to globally work together – however nice that would be. As there is also a clear lack of trust and respect between them, they cannot easily achieve this important transition.

What about the United Nations – can it be ‘upgraded’?

UN Security Council

Would the National Governments of the world willingly choose to give authority to an ‘independent’ United Nations which could unite them all under a single banner of global cooperation that would benefit EVERYONE?

This again is one of those ‘It’s a nice idea, but…’. While it makes perfect sense for the United Nations to fulfil a role for humanity that should have been implemented 100 years ago, it is also not likely to happen without serious international and political support. IN SUMMARY

If national governments lack the maturity to work together for our common good and upgrading the role of the United Nations is currently not possible, then we - THE PEOPLE - must implement this change ourselves.

GLOBAL PROBLEMS require GLOBAL SOLUTIONS.

We acknowledge that humanity needs to unite and work together as a people to effectively solve its global problems. When we make a simple commitment to work together towards our common good, there is literally no limit to the many ways in which we can coordinate our efforts to improve the state of the world and quality of life for EVERYONE.

Q & A

  • Why is a Global Model the most intelligent solution to the world’s problems? It addresses the root cause of the world’s problems. With the implementation of a new humanitarian global model, governments and nation states will be psychologically, politically, economically and practically aligned to the same shared interests and humanitarian goals. As their interests are now aligned, intelligent solutions can be put in place to solve every major problem that exists today and improve the state of the world for all countries. Humanity is now truly working together as one people.
  • How does this differ from a National Model?Humanity does not work together today. Each government or nation state puts its own interests first. This places each in conflict and opposition with the others. It is a self-centred, aggressive model. This also results in governments and businesses making self-centred, foolish and short-sighted decisions. This self-centred behaviour results is thousands of symptomatic problems throughout the world and has done so for centuries!
  • How easy is it to transition to a Global Model? It simply requires the ‘decision’ to do it. People talk about dream of international peace, ending conflicts and poverty, etc. Making the simple decision to ‘work together as a people’ enables us as a people to solve every major problem today. It just needs to support of ‘the people’ to implement it. Historically, politicians tend to only support initiatives once they gain enough support.
  • Does a Global Model require the support of all countries? While that is the ideal, it can be implemented with any number of countries. It is the commitment to work together as one that is important.
